Please join us for a retirement reception for Carol Wilkinson of the ETS VP Office, on Wednesday, August 25, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the Brighton Campus Center Forum. Carol’s career of 37 years at MCC has been most wonderful. I have been associated with her for 20 of those years, and may I say -- she is a legend!
As some of you may know, Carol holds a special place in her heart for Rochester City School #20, The Henry Lomb School. One of her favorite things to do is to help supplement the school's library collection by way of donations of new books. As part of our "celebration of Carol," we've asked the school's librarian if we might have Carol's MCC friends donate new books to the library. The School is thrilled by the idea! When you come to Carol's reception, please bring at least one new fiction book (chapter or picture books, it's up to you). The librarian said that old favorites or books that just catch your eye would be most welcomed. Books that reflect ethnic diversity are especially appreciated. If, for some reason, you will be unable to attend the reception, please forward your books to Rick Squires at MCC's Brighton Campus Library. He will see that your gift makes it to the reception!
