Congratulations to MCC alumnus Mark Mancuso, winner of the MCC Toastmasters Club’s 10th annual Table Topics Contest on January 28. Six MCC Toastmasters competed for the opportunity to represent the club at the Area 4 Table Topics and International Speech Contest on February 13 in Brighton. Kudos to Toastmasters Rich Nestlen and Corey Wilson took second and third place respectively, as well as Mark Block (ESOL/Transitional Studies), Kendra Fee and Todd Mykins who also competed.
All are invited to attend the club’s next contest, the International Speech Contest, on February 11 at 5:30 pm in the Brighton Room (3-217; doors open at 5 pm). In this contest, Toastmasters deliver motivational speeches and compete for the honor of, ultimately, representing their region/district on the worldwide stage in Malaysia in August 2014.
