Bausch & Lomb, Diana Lauria and Alumni Honored


Approximately 400 people joined the MCC Foundation to recognize the excellence and generosity of Bausch & Lomb and Diana Lauria at the Salute to Excellence dinner on Dec. 9, Rochester Riverside Convention Center.

That evening, the MCC Foundation presented Bausch & Lomb with the Salute to Excellence award for the leadership, counsel and financial support the company has provided to the college since its inception. The award was accepted by Chairman and CEO Ronald Zarrella.

Diana Lauria, vice president of corporate banking, JPMorgan Chase, received the Foundation’s Salute to Volunteerism Award—only the third such award presented in its history. The award was created to recognize individuals who have given extensively of their time, talent and resources to the MCC Foundation. Previous winners include Margarett Sprattling (1996) and Arnold Klinsky (1997).

Lauria serves as director and vice chair, Special Events, MCC Foundation Board, and as a member of the Holocaust Genocide Studies Project Advisory Board. She joined the MCC Foundation Board of Directors in 1993.

Robert O. Hoffman, MD '74, John R. Kraus '65, Colonel John J. Perrone, Jr. '70 and Ann S. Turner '78 were inducted into the MCC Alumni Hall of Fame for their personal and professional achievements and loyalty to Monroe Community College.
 
Political humorist Mark Russell provided the evening’s entertainment.
