At its Feb. 5 meeting, the Monroe Community College Board of Trustees recognized alumnus Anthony Ventura '64 of Penfield as the first student to enroll at the college's Alexander Street Campus back in 1962. Ventura was presented with a plaque recognizing his place in MCC history (pictured below).
Ventura and his classmates annually attend alumni reunions hosted by the MCC Foundation and remain enthusiastically involved in the life of the college.
