MCC women's softball player Emilie Rogers and men's lacrosse player Colin Cornaire (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) were named the MCC Athletes of the Week.
Rogers, a freshman pitcher, helped the Tribune softball team sweep a doubleheader from host Lakeland CC Sunday. Rogers tossed a complete game two-hitter, allowing just one run while striking out 13.
Cornaire, a sophomore attack, had a big game as the men's lacrosse team defeated Region III rival Herkimer County CC 12-6 Saturday. Cornaire finished the game with three goals and three assists.
