Rinehart Brings Dental Hygiene Pilot Program to National, Regional Conferences

Dean Frank Rinehart, (Science, Health and Business Division), shared the success of MCC’s Distance Dental Hygiene pilot program with health educators at the 20th annual National Network of Health Career Programs in Two-Year Colleges conference on Oct. 11.

Rinehart presented “Upstate New York Consortium Blended Approach to Delivering AAS Degree in Dental Hygiene to Rural Communities” at the conference.

The National Network is an organization of health education leaders from two-year colleges across the nation who are dedicated to promoting and encouraging innovation, collaboration, cooperation, and communication with two-year colleges sponsoring health career programs.

Rinehart will deliver a similar presentation at the Oral Health Coalition of New York’s annual Meeting on Friday, Oct. 19.
