College programs hope to spark new businesses

The April 28 Democrat and Chronicle article, “College programs hope to spark new businesses,” by Matthew Daneman includes interviews with MCC students David I. Lewis, Teheran K. Simmons and Barbara A Furstoss, who are enrolled in MCC's Emerging Entrepreneur Scholarship Program. The article also includes comments from program director Sherry Tshibangu (Business Administration/Economics). The interview was prompted by the program’s first “Small Business Spectacular: Entrepreneur Expo” held in the Spina Administration Building on April 27.
