2016 Xerox Grant Projects


We are happy to announce a number of exciting and interesting projects that will be implemented in 2016 thanks to funding provided by the Xerox STEM Grant. Those projects are:

Summer STEM Camp submitted by Jayalaxmi Chakravarthy, Information & Computer Technologies

Geosciences Lab Assistants Participating in Field Studies submitted by Amanda Colosimo, Geosciences

Purchase of a Portable X-Ray Machine for use in XRT and Surgical Technology programs submitted by Jason Hall, X-Ray Technology

Purchase of Vault Campus STEM Resources submitted by Anne Hughes, Career & Transfer Office

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Competition submitted by Christopher Kumar, Engineering

Purchase of lab equipment for HVAC Analysis submitted by Dale Pearce, Applied Technology Center

Support for a High School STEM Competition at MCC submitted by Dale Pearce, Applied Technology Center

Equipment for a “Gas-Producing Reaction” for Chemistry submitted by Kara Tierney, Chemistry

Equipment for Design & Fabrication of Surveillance Robots project submitted by John Wadach, Engineering
