Laurel Sanger,chairperson of MCC’s Nursing Department, is being honored this October by the Finger Lakes Chapter of the New York Organization of Nurse Executives. This organization recognizes nursing leadership within and beyond the clinical setting. Laurel will be the recipient of the prestigious Chapter Leadership Award. Members of the organization include top nursing executives of Rochester-area health care organizations and nursing leaders of all local institutions responsible for educating nurses. Laurel is known to be a significant and respected leader at MCC. This recognition substantiates her respected leadership in the community as well. Congratulations Laurel.
