Please help the MCC Nursing Department provide caregiver support to a frail veteran wishing to travel with Honor Flight June 16-17, 2012. This veteran does not have any family and requires assistance with his Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and will be unable to travel without this extra level of physical care. Our very own MCC nursing student Kirk Nelson has agreed to serve as his guardian and provide the extra level of care required. Your donation will help offset the $300 guardian fee and cover the $75 fee for a hotel stay the evening before the 6 am flight as the veteran lives 1 hour away from the airport.
