WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT Would You Do?  Need an Ego Boost?


Tuesday’s Enough is Enough events were a huge success!  Let’s keep the momentum going.   Check out what’s happening today…

Wednesday, April 9th :

8:00 am - 5:00 pm:  Brick Wall of Violence (North Atrium/PAC Lobby) -  Take a moment to tell your story of how you or someone you know has been effected by violence.

8:00 am - 5:00 pm:  Posters for PEACE (North Atrium) – Students from AAD 260 create pieces of art proclaiming peace.

8:00 am - 5:00 pm:  Shoes of the Victims/13 Stories of Domestic Violence (Terrace) – Take time to reflect as you interact with this display of shoes with corresponding stories of women who have been murdered on college campuses around the county.

9:30 - 10:30 am:  Active Shooter with Chuck DiSalvo (3-115)

10:00 am - 3:00 pm:  Boost Your Ego:  Empowering Others Through Sense of Style, Safety and Self (R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center Atrium/Terrace) – Students of Shear Ego International School of Hair Design will do make-overs, haircuts, make-up tips, and mini manicures.  This isn’t an event you want to miss!

12:00 - 1:00 pm:  Truth Behind the Badge (Main Dining) – Have questions about Public Safety and their role on campus?  Come to this open forum and have all of your questions answered.

12:00 - 1:00 pm:  Meditation (9-239):  A guided meditation for relaxation. 

12:00 - 1:00 pm:  These Hands Don’t Hurt Pledge (Main Dining/Brick Lounge/North Atrium/Building 10)– Come take the pledge that you will not participate in violence. 

5:00 pm:  Women’s Lacrosse Game vs Genesee Community College (field)

6:00 pm:  I Hate Porkchops:  Bullying (Canal Hall Conference Room) – Shane Koyczan – To This Day… From Bullied to Beautiful.

8:00 pm:  Pillowcases for PEACE (Canal Hall Conference Room) – Create a pillowcase for the women and children that call the Sojourner House home.  Words of inspiration, hope, and love can change lives.
