Robinson and McBride Present at SUNY/CUNY OER Conference


On Monday, April 25, at John Jay College in New York City, Assistant Professor Verdis Robinson (Anthropology/History/Political Science/Sociology) and Director of Library Services Mark McBride presented on the benefits of Open Educational Resources (OER) on teaching and learning.  Verdis represented MCC on a panel of SUNY faculty who shared their experiences incorporating OER into teaching.  Mark was the opening keynote where he presented on some of the early research on the benefits OER has on teaching and learning, and the role OER plays in the success of community college students.
