The health professions are dependent upon accurate, concise and thorough communication, and when that communication breaks down or is missing things can get nasty. Why should you care? If your students are planning on a career in the health professions, then the well-being of their patients and their personal career success may very well be at stake.
On Wednesday, April 4, the WAC Committee will present a student workshop emphasizing the need for clear, well written communication among health care providers, their patients and insurers. We have assembled a panel of professionals from the fields of nursing, nutrition, and chiropractic who will draw upon their experiences to present an informative workshop which you will not want to miss.
