Film Screening: Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1

Please join Veteran Services and the Downtown Campus Student Engagement Center for the Oscar winning documentary, Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1 on Thursday, March 29th at 2:00 in High Falls A. The intense short subject documentary focuses on trained responders, at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua, answering calls from veterans and active-duty troops who are struggling with PTSD, depression and addiction, or contemplating suicide. Military veterans turn to the unique services of the Veterans Crisis Line to help with their personal and professional traumas. The trained responders provide support, guidance, and hope to the brave men and women who serve our country. Following the film screening will be a discussion with Kelly Mohrman, suicide prevention coordinator for the VA hotline.
