Dr. Susan M. Salvador, Vice President, Student Services presented at the Learning Reconsidered Institute in St. Louis, Missouri, June 7, sponsored by the following professional associations:  American College Personnel Association (ACPA), Association of College & University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I), National Association for Campus Activities (NACA), The National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), and National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association(NIRSA).

Dr. Salvador’s presentation was entitled “The Interconnectedness of Student Learning:  LR1 and LR2.”  Learning Reconsidered has helped reshape the way student affairs educators look at their work with students. Student learning outcomes, developing a campus curriculum, assessing overall learning, and examining how higher education impacts the lives of students was captured in Learning Reconsidered (LR1) and Learning Reconsidered 2. This Learning Reconsidered Institute was created to help student affairs educators and faculty to implement LR concepts, identify new ways to link current work to student learning for the preparation of the whole student.
