MCC swimmer Amy Hurd (Wellsville, NY/Wellsville) and hockey player Tom Pappa (Oswego, NY/Oswego) were named the MCC Athletes of the Week.
Hurd continued to excel on the diving board for the Tribunes, winning the 1-meter and 3-meter events at the Erie CC Invitational over the weekend. The sophomore has won both events in three out of four meets this year.
Pappa had a big week as MCC picked up two key Region III victories. The sophomore forward had a goal and an assist in a 6-1 win over Erie, then added two goals in a 4-1 victory over Mohawk Valley CC.
