Oracle Corporation Names MCC as a Top 5 Workforce Development Partner in North America

Monroe Community College, through the Office of Workforce Development, was just named one of the top 5 Workforce Development Partners (WDP) in North America by Oracle Corporation. Oracle is an industry leading provider of integrated business hardware and software systems with more than 380,000 customers - including 100 of the Fortune 100 - and deployments in more than 145 countries around the world.

The WDP at Oracle is a unique partnership opportunity for institutions seeking to offer Oracle training. Applicant departments must be teaching institutions accredited or registered with their local departments of education and must be focused on adult education and the delivery of diploma, degree or certificate programs. Oracle Corporation launched WDP to address the continued global information technology (IT) worker shortage and need for accessible and low cost IT skills training.

The program here at MCC prepares students for Oracle certification testing. With the widely acclaimed credential of Oracle certification, our students are readied for database administrator job roles as well as career advancement.  For more information contact Chuck Caples x1429 or <mailto:ccaples@monroecc.edu>.
