Credit Card Abuse Workshop on October 25th

C.A.R.E.
Credit Abuse Resistance Education

The Monroe Community College Peer Mentors in conjunction with the Health and Physical Education Department invite all students and staff members to a presentation on the pitfalls of credit card abuse featuring the Honorable Judge John Ninfo from Federal Bankruptcy Court.

If you have a $1000 balance on a credit card with 18 percent and you merely pay the minimum balance every month, it could take you over 12 years to pay off the debt. Who needs that kind of stress and aggravation? This presentation is design to help people (especially students) stay away from this kind of debt.

Judge Ninfo’s presentation will take place Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 12 noon in the Empire Room, Flynn Campus Center.

We hope to see you there!
