The Carmen Powers Legacy Lecture Series invites nominations of retiring MCC faculty and staff for the purposes of sharing professional and institutional wisdom. The deadline for nominations has been extended to March 17th, 2017. All retiring faculty and staff who would like to share lessons and insight obtained during their years of service at MCC are eligible. https://web.monroecc.edu/FacultySenate/cplegacy. To nominate a colleague, please submit a one-page letter to Gale Lynch, director of global education & international services, by March 17th, 2017. The letter should include intended retirement date, years of service, and the ways in which the subject meets the criteria. All applicants or nominees must submit their intention to retire prior to the aforementioned deadline.
