In honor of Lance Corporal Michael Plank, who died while supporting combat operations in Helmand Province, Afghanistan on June 9, 2010, flags will be flown at half-staff on Thursday, June 17, 2010. Lance Corporal Plank, a Cameron Mills resident, was assigned to the 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, based at Camp Pendleton, California.
