New Marketing Campaign Starts July 23

As you may know, a new TV campaign has been in the works and will launch July 23. The campaign strongly focuses on the outcomes of an MCC education--our alumni and their careers--and shows how an MCC education opened doors to those careers.

Our commercials highlight 10 alumni in their dream careers and were filmed at workplace locations around the Rochester region.

The TV campaign will run on local commercial and cable channels. A digital version of the campaign will run on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. We'll also advertise on the internet with display ads, and run a Google keywords campaign - advertising based upon a user's search terms in Google. Visitors to monroecc.edu will be followed with internet ads as well; this is called retargeting.

Also watch/listen for billboards on 1-490 East for west side commuters, a new radio spot and movie theatre ads in Regal Culver Ridge Plaza 16 and Regal Greece Ridge Stadium 12 to take advantage of summer movie blockbusters in these strong MCC markets.

All advertising will direct prospects to monroecc.edu/apply, a special landing page created for the campaign. In addition, MCC social media channels Facebook, Instagram and Twitter will promote the outcomes of our alumni.

The campaign is one part of the ongoing year-long recruitment strategy which includes mutliple tactics such as direct mail, email, digital marketing, outbound calling programs, and special events.
