To the voting members of the Faculty Senate:
The Faculty Senate’s Nominations, Elections and Governance Committee (NEG) is calling for nominations for a representative to the MCC Association Board.
The MCC Association Board is a not-for-profit organization that provides financial and management support for many student services, including the MCC Bookstores, the Richard M. Guon Child Care Center, Residence Halls, Athletics, co-curricular programs, and campus food services. Their Board of Directors meets six to eight times per year. Each board member sits on one of the two standing committees: Finance Committee, or Operations & Personnel. Each standing committee meets around eight times per year.
This representative, a member of the voting faculty, will serve a three-year term beginning on October 1, 2014 and ending on September 30, 2017. Self-nominations are accepted. Before submitting a colleague’s name as a candidate, please obtain his or her permission and willingness to serve. Please forward your nominations by e-mail to Alice Wilson by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 8th.
