HGSP, CAB Co-Sponsor Community Interfaith Presentation


The Holocaust Genocide Studies Project and Campus Activities Board will welcome Franklin H. Littell, Ph.D. to Monroe Community College today, Nov. 10 during College Hour in the Warshof Conference Center (Monroe A & B), R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center. The impact of this distinguished guest lecturer will also be felt community-wide with the following special presentation on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m.

“Catholics, Protestants, Jews: The Long Road to Conversation and Cooperation in the Light of the Holocaust”
An interfaith exploration of the lessons learned from the Holocaust and application of those lessons to today’s world. Includes a ceremony to recognize and honor local people who liberated the concentration camps after the fall of Nazi Germany.

Thursday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 pm
Asbury First United Methodist Church, 1050 East Ave., Rochester
Co-sponsored by the Commission on Christian Jewish Relations (Jewish Community Federation of Greater Rochester and Greater Rochester Community of Churches) and the Holocaust Genocide Studies Project and Campus Activities Board at MCC.
