April is Mathematics Appreciation Month! To celebrate at the Damon City Campus, you are invited to special events each Wednesday at noon.
April 8, 12:00-12:50 pm, in the ILC (4260): Origami boxes – create the bottom of the box today
April 15, 12:00-12:50 pm, in the ILC (4260): Origami boxes – create the top of the box (even if you couldn’t attend on the 8th!)
April 22, 12:00-12:50 pm, in the ILC (4260): Games – play a variety of math-related games such as Rummikub and chess with professors and friends
April 29, 12:00-12:50 pm, in the ILC (4260): “Magic is in the Cards” – a demonstration of card tricks by Prof Nick Flesch, one of our Mathematics adjunct instructors
