Bartell, Brinkman and Boni Team Up for Cooking Demonstration, Tasting and Wine Pairing!


Don’t miss the opportunity to join Hospitality Management Department Chair Michelle Bartell, Chef Gerry Brinkman and wine enthusiast David Boni for a Cooking Demonstration, Tasting and Wine Pairing session during Alumni Week and Homecoming 2013!

There are still seats available for the Thursday, September 26, session being held in the Flynn Campus Center, Room 3-140 from 6 to 8 p.m.  Attendees will explore various cooking techniques, ingredient selection, plate presentation, nutrition, menu planning and tips on wine selection. Best of all, participants will enjoy a farm-to-plate menu using locally sourced ingredients.

Carrot, Squash and Ginger Soup with vegetables from Pacahmama Farm

Short Ribs of Beef from Seven Bridges Farm served with Spaetzel

Fresh Fruit Gallette using local stone fruit and berries with Homemade Ice Cream.
