History Film Series

Tonight is the closing film for the History Film Series. This semester's series focused on "Workers in American History". Tonight's film is "Norma Rae". This 1979 Oscar winner stars Sally Fields as a southern factory worker who gets involved in the fight to unionize her workplace. This is an inspiring, realistic film about the workplace and the power that one person can have in changing the lives of others.
