The AAWCC is sponsoring 3 families at Wilson Commencement Park in need for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Beginning November 1st, 2002 we will be collecting donations to provide traditional Thanksgiving meals with all the fixings. Last year, MCC faculty, staff and students were so generous we exceeded our expectations and were able to provide 5 families with a Thanksgiving meal.
Please donate canned or boxed items in the drop boxes located at:
Brighton Campus - Student Center Hallway, Bldg. 3 - 1st Floor and Outside the Counseling & Testing Center - Bldg. 1 - 2nd Floor Hallway.
Damon Campus - Outside the Bookstore - 4th Floor and the Student Services Area - 5th Floor Student Services Office.
We are also collecting donations to purchase the turkeys. If you are interested in donating $$ please contact Susan Bender, AAWCC's Treasurer, at x-1710. Please make your donations by noon on November 25th, 2002 in order for us to deliver the families their holiday meal.
