MCC will host an Innovative Educators webinar titled “Latino Parent Involvement in College Access and Success” on Wednesday, September 15th from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Empire Room) at the Brighton Campus and Community Room, 4193, at the Damon City Campus.
This webinar will focus on the unique role of parents in college preparation, planning and success with an emphasis on Latino families. Participants will learn about research on the role of parental involvement in college access and success, and recommendations for developing culturally relevant resources. Participants will also receive a set of parent workshop materials in both English and Spanish that can be adapted for different uses.
