CSTEP Students Represent MCC Well at Statewide Conference

Twenty CSTEP students attended the Annual CSTEP Statewide Conference in April.  During the conference, the students attended workshops, a graduate school fair, and networking events.  Four students were poster presenters and two student were oral presenters of their undergraduate research projects.  Our very own, Kinra Johnson, Liberal Arts/Science, placed second in the Natural Sciences Category.   Two students served as student Ambassadors.
CSTEP is funded by a grant from the New York State Education Department.  Its mission is to increase the numbers of historically underrepresented individuals pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), licensed and health professions.
