United Way Campaign Week 2 Update: 30% of Goal

We’re pleased to announce that donations have reached 30.6% of our $105,000 campaign goal. Right now the split between online and paper giving is 50/50 so we’re happy that many of you are taking advantage of eWay, though we are also still happy to accept paper pledges. The campaign runs until April 30, but why not return your pledge this week before break?

We believe that any member of the community who is inspired to serve people in need can join with others through the United Way to make real, meaningful, and measurable changes in peoples’ lives. We need your help to reach our goal especially in a year when other local companies have had layoffs that will reduce United Way donations.  We ask you to consider the following:

- If you’ve never given to United Way, please consider pledging $1 per paycheck. If you’ve given before, please consider an increase of $1 per paycheck.
- United Way isn’t just a worthwhile program – it supports over 100 valuable community programs!
- Please pledge either online or by paper as in past years (not both). Paper Donor Designation forms are available from your department’s coordinator or from Char or Peter.
- If you pledge online to pay by check, please send the check in the United Way return envelope with a note that you pledged online.

If using paper pledges:

- Please be sure to sign the pledge form if paying by payroll deduction, direct bill, or credit card.
- Please be sure to write your home address if paying by check, credit card or direct bill.
