Rescheduled for March 29: Interview Features President's Perpective on Pathways to Prosperity Study

Tune into 1370 Connection (WXXI 1370 AM) tomorrow, March 29 at noon to hear President Kress respond to the Pathways to Prosperity: Meeting the Challenge of Preparing Young Americans for the 21st Century report. Published in February by the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Pathways to Prosperity Project, this report has generated enormous interest from around the nation.

Host Bob Smith and President Kress will be joined by Dr. William Symonds, director of the Pathways to Prosperity Project at Harvard.

The report initiates an important conversation about the apparent disconnect between America’s educational priorities and our current and future workforce needs. It also offers a vision that provides more options, at earlier age, for young people to build upon their natural abilities, interests, and skills and commit to completing their education. There are also expanded roles for employers to play in preparing and motivating young people to succeed.

The interview will be rebroadcast at 10:00 pm on Tuesday and is accessible "" online via
live audio stream at noon and 10:00 pm.
