The nurses in the Via Health Call Center who handle all 292-BABY calls received a “Thumbs-Up” in the Democrat and Chronicle last Saturday, August 28th. Since it launched in 2002, the nurses have answered over 10,000 calls from parents and caregivers about their baby or young child. Calls on any non-emergency issue related to early childhood can be made from 7:00 AM to midnight seven days a week.
292-BABY is a community collaborative administered by MCC. It also has nightly television on Cable Channel 4 from 8:00 to 10:00 PM Monday through Friday. Over 100+ educational videos on early childhood are also available 24/7 at www.292baby.org.
