The Maverick Aquatic Club will host two Learn-to-Swim Registration nights both tonight, Sept. 28, and on Monday, Oct. 3 from 5:30 - 7 pm at the MCC Pool, Building 10.
The Maverick Aquatic Club (MAC) is a community-based MCC Association, Inc. program, which specializes in aquatic education. There are five branches of the MAC, serving both children and adult students. These programs include:
Learn-to-Swim lessons – children, ages 4 & older
Five sessions, each lasting five weeks are offered throughout the school year. A series of class levels have been designed to serve the non-swimmer through the proficient swimmer.

Private Lessons – children & adults
Each private lesson is scheduled with our private lesson instructor and serves both children and adults. Each lesson is personally designed to meet individual skill levels. All level abilities are welcomed.
Youth Swim Club – children, ages 6 & older
This program is for new and intermediate level competitive swimmers. Practice sessions run on weeknights from September through June. Swimmers may join in anytime and participate from 2 to 10 months.
Adult Swim Program- adults, ages 21 & older
This program offers adults the opportunity to learn about competitive and fitness swimming. Drills and organized practices are used to serve a wide variety of adults. Fitness, triathletes and competitive swimmers are welcome.
Kayak Instruction- children & adults
The kayak courses are run in partnership with Cascade Falls Kayak Adventures. Instructional classes are offered on weekends between October and April.
