Maria Brandt (ENG/PHL) has two play-readings coming up at Geva Theatre Center.

The first is part of Geva's annual Bake-Off, modeled on Paula Vogel's concept of giving writers "ingredients" and a deadline. Geva will give five playwrights three Rochester-based "ingredients" this Thursday at 7:30 PM, and the playwrights have until Sunday at 6 PM to “bake” their plays. At 7 PM on Sunday, Geva will host a free wine-and-cheese reception, followed by readings of the plays at 7:30 PM. Tickets are free, but Geva asks for reservations. Here's the website: https://www.gevatheatre.org/shows/festival-new-theatre/  Also included in this event is David Henderson (VaPA)!

Then, on Saturday, November 1, Geva will host a reading of Maria's full-length “thriller” THE CELL at 7 PM. Again, tickets are free, but reservations are requested. You can use the above website to order tickets.
