The American Association of Women in Community College’s MCC Chapter is proud to announce Yuliana Poplavaskiy, Liberal Arts Health related major, as the recipient of the 2015 American Association of Women in Community Colleges Region II Scholarship. Yuliana was recognized for her academic achievements, volunteer involvement with the Open Door Mission in downtown Rochester, her passion for serving and helping others, and her determination in being a role model for change in her community.
The AAWCC Region II Scholarship recognizes one student from New York, New Jersey, and Puerto Rico for their academic achievement, contribution or impact on women’ issues in their community and financial need.
