LAST DAY to register for Brighton "Go Green at Home" Workshop

Today, Thursday 12 June is the last day to register for the Brighton Go Green at Home Workshop sponsored by the Town of Brighton Recreation & Parks Department to be offered on Tuesday 17 June from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Today more and more people want to make environmentally friendly choices.  This introduction to going green will help you get started in reducing your home’s environmental footprint.  The goal of the course is to offer simple changes you can implement at home; many of these are not only green, but moneysaving as well.  During this meeting, you will learn tips for reducing water an
d electricity use.  You’ll also learn to recognize potential toxins in your home and how to make your own cleaning supplies from simple nontoxic ingredients.   Other topics to be covered include reusing and recycling, stopping junk mail, and composting.  We hope you leave feeling inspired and motivated to lead a greener lifestyle.  Please Contact the Town of Brighton Recreation & Parks Department with any questions:  585-784-5260 * TTY: 585-784-5381.  Additional information and registration form can be found at: <<M:\Offices\Shared\Sustainability\Brighton Go Green Workshop.doc>>.
