Dr. Robert Parilla, Senior Consultant with Academic Search, has been hired by the Board of Trustees to assist the College in the search for its next president. Dr. Parilla will visit MCC on Monday November 3 and Tuesday November 4 for the purpose of meeting with various constituencies of the MCC community. There will be several opportunities for faculty to meet with Dr. Parilla and offer input regarding the challenges and opportunities facing the institution as well as the qualities faculty believe are most important for MCC’s next president to possess.
1. General Session open to all members of the College community
Monday, November 3 from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm in the Empire Room
2. Focus Groups of 8 – 12 faculty
a. Group #1: Monday, November 3 from 3:15 – 4:00 pm
b. Group #2: Tuesday, November 4 from 1:15 – 2:15 pm
If you are interested in being included in one of the specific focus groups, please send your request to Sandy Wynne (<<mailto:swynne@monroecc.edu>>) by 4:00 pm Thursday, October 30. Although space is limited, an effort will be made to ensure a cross section of our faculty is represented. Participants will receive an e-mail notification no later than 3:00 pm Friday.
