The article "Canadian author talks of Rwanda genocide," written by Staff Writer Matthew Daneman, appeared in the Nov. 10 issue of the Democrat and Chronicle. The article covers the visit of Lt.-Gen. (ret.) Romeo Dallaire to Monroe Communiy College on Nov. 9. Dallaire was the keynote speaker for the college's 15th annual Kristallnacht Commemoration sponsored by the Holocaust Genocide Studies Project, Brighton Campus Activities Board, MCC Bookstores and WXXI. The event capped the 2005 Human Rights Series which explored genocide in Rwanda and Sudan.
