John Haines Receives Administrative Services Employee Award

John Haines is the most recent recipient of the Administrative Services Award for Diligence and Conscientious Performance beyond the call of duty.

He was recognized because of the impact he brings to his department—performing “double-duty,” learning his new responsibilities as Labor Foreman and maintaining his old position’s duties.

John also has made an influence at the divisional level by playing an integral role in the most recent Team Building activities for Administrative Services.  He was part of the creative team, led and instructed groups in the actual process, and added extra flair to the program by “debriefing” the activities with the groups and linking them to teamwork in our day-to-day activities.

He continues his “above and beyond” call of duty by chairing the Facilities/Building Services Annual Golf Tournament. He came up with the idea 4 years ago and continues to arrange all the details. Last year’s tournament was unique in that it was the first time the tournament had  participatory fundraising activities and raised funds for a local charity – Jefferson Avenue Childhood Development Center.

Congratulations, John!
