Snow Season Parking Rules in Effect

It is that time of year again for some friendly snow season parking reminders-even though we haven't had to deal with snow yet (thank goodness). If the white stuff is on the ground, pay extra attention that your vehicle is in an appropriate parking place as you are parking your vehicle in the parking lot.  Facilities does a great job plowing/sweeping  the center line and the end caps to guide motorists where to line up a vehicle. If you are parking on hatch marks, you've gone too far. As a point of reference if you are the last vehicle parked closest to the building there should be approximately 5 car widths distance to the sidewalk.  For everyone's safety we will have any vehicles removed if they are parked in roadways, driving lanes, and sidewalks.

To facilitate snow removal operations, no vehicles are to be left parked on campus overnight for any reason.  Vehicles left parked overnight will be towed off campus at the owner's/operator's expense. (If your vehicle becomes disabled and cannot be moved, please notify Public Safety at 292-2912 and arrange to have it towed before midnight.)

We appreciate your continued cooperation in keeping our campus safe.  Towing is our last option and a practice we'd rather avoid, believe it or not!

Drive courteously and safely.
