AAWCC Announces Program Plans for This Year

The MCC chapter of the American Association of Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) is “dedicated to changing women’s lives through leadership and education, thus strengthening our colleges and communities” according to its mission statement.

Each year, AAWCC members are invited to networking events hosted by Susan Salvador, VP Student Services, and Janet Glocker, VP Academic Services, as well as the very popular holiday luncheon in December. The members then work on a variety of programs that contribute to professional development and service projects for the benefit of the MCC community. AAWCC’s most highly visible project is the April Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.

Members of the MCC community can join now for the year for a $15 fee. Please go to the web site for the application form or contact Annette Agness or Jessica Barone, Membership co-chairs. The web site is: https://web.monroecc.edu/aawcc/.
