Congratulations to Assistant Professor Sherry Tshibangu (Business Administration and Economics) for her outstanding leadership in launching the Pathways to Entrepreneurial Success forum at MCC on November 12.
Her efforts over the past year have helped to strengthened MCC relationships on many fronts, including with area colleges, national and local government officials, the business community as well as current and prospective students. She worked with fellow educators and entrepreneurs Bob Spinelli (Nazareth College/ MCC) and Jeff Shepard (St. John Fisher College) to develop a forum that centralized numerous resources for area entrepreneurs.
While event surveys have yet to be processed, the initial response from the over 400 participants and presenters was overwhelmingly positive.
Many thanks to President Kress for opening the forum; the internal support team comprising Aramark, Campus Events and the Division of Science, Health and Business; and the many MCC students who assisted in this triumphant effort.
