Parking Lot V -  Reserved as a Welcoming Place for Visitors and Guests

The new Visitors Parking Lot, Lot V, is a welcoming and convenient place for visitors and guests of the college to park.  Lot V is located adjacent to the campus green in front of the Spina Administration Building (Building 1).  The entrance to Lot V is north of the college’s entrance “B” off of East Henrietta Road. Employees and registered students, including new students registered for the upcoming fall semester, are not considered guests and therefore are not allowed to park in Lot V.

Once a student has registered for classes they are no longer considered a visitor to the college.  If a student is registered for fall classes, but has not registered his/her vehicle with Parking Services for the summer academic session, they have the option of using the meters located on Arts and Residence Lane located on the north side of the campus near the Communications/Theatre Building (Building 4) if they wish to park on campus.  The meters hold a maximum of 2 hours and the cost is $.50 per hour.

If a longer time period is needed for parking, Pay-by-Plate stations are also available.  Pay-by-Plate stations allow an individual to park on campus for an entire day for $5.  One Pay-by-Plate station is located next to the Communications/Theatre, building 4 and one is located next to the Samuel J. Stabins Physical Education Complex, building 10.  The Pay-by-Plate stations look like a stand-alone ATM machine and are both located next to the walkway leading to these two buildings. Simply enter your license plate and payment and you are on your way.  No need to place a receipt on your dashboard.  The Parking Services Office has a record of your license plate and you may park anywhere on campus except for handicapped parking spaces and reserved parking spaces.

The last day for enforcement for the summer session is August 8, 2014.  After August 8th, there is a grace period and students may park in any student parking lot on campus until September 15, 2014.  Enforcement for parking registrations will resume on September 16, 2014.  All registered student are required to obtain their parking registration before that date.  Please note, parking enforcement for all other violations, including, but not limited to handicapped parking spaces, reserved parking spaces and Visitors Lot V, will continue to be enforced throughout the grace period.  The grace period for enforcement only applies for students.   All employees are required to have proper parking anytime they are parked on campus.
