Dental Studies professors Susan Forsyth and Barbara Ellis spent a portion of their summer creating an instructional DVD to be used by distance as well as on-campus students. Professor Ellis says “the Instructional Development Stipend allowed Susan and me to develop a supplemental, course-supporting DVD of the didactics taught in the MCC Dental Materials course.” She called the experience “invigorating” and “rejuvenating” and says that the DVD, created with the assistance of ETS’s Steve Weider and Jeremy Case, will undoubtedly help our students.
Instructional Development Stipends are made available by the Office of Curriculum and Program Development each summer to sponsor instructional innovation.
