According to the April 11 Democrat and Chronicle, six members of the MCC family are being considered for inclusion in the Frontier Field Walk of Fame. Those on the list include:
· MCC Alumnus Tim Redding
· MCC Trustee John Parrinello
· President Emeritus R. Thomas Flynn
· Men’s Basketball Head Coach Jerry Burns
· Men’s Soccer Head Coach Nelson Cupello
· Former Men’s Soccer Head Coach Joe Mancarella
The 2009 class will be announced at the Press-Radio Club Day of Champions dinner on May 18. The induction ceremony is scheduled for Aug. 20. Women’s Basketball Head Coach Tim Parrinello was inducted into the Frontier Field Walk of Fame in 2006; former Head Women’s Soccer Coach Tracey Britton was inducted in 2008.
