Scenario-Based Learning for a More Relevant Student Experience


Foothill-De Anza Community College District was funded in 2003 by the Advanced Technological Education program of the National Science Foundation to investigate the effectiveness at the community college level of the active learning methods used at Carnegie Mellon University-West with graduate students. The implementation of new teaching and learning methods turned out to be both difficult and rewarding for instructors and students alike.
