Automotive Technology Scholarships

Two Monroe Community College students each will receive a $1,500 scholarship from the MG Car Club of Rochester.
Robert Newell and Joyce Roman are majoring in automotive technology and hope to become automotive service technicians after graduation in June of 2005 and 2006 respectively. These scholarships are critical to covering costs of automotive tools, which can run up to $2,200 in addition to tuition. MG Car Club members will present the scholarships during a March 17 award ceremony. The club has given scholarships to MCC for the past 12 years.
