Historically Black Colleges Transfer Fair


 On Wednesday, October 22, 2008, the Admissions Office sponsored a college fair featuring Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's). A goal of this program is to create and build partnerships with HBCU's and was coordinated by Admissions Counselors Clayton Jones and Joan Moorehead.

Over 130 parents and students attended the program which included a welcome by Vice President of Academic Services, Dr. Janet J. Glocker, an Admissions and Transfer Overview by Clayton Jones, and a Financial Aid & Scholarships presentation by Admissions Counselor Mary Rizzo.  Guest colleges included Bennett College for Women, Bethune-Cookman University, Clark-Atlanta University, Delaware State University, Dillard University, Grambling State University, Hampton University, Howard University, Lincoln University, Morgan State University, North Carolina A & T University, North Carolina Central University, Spelman College, Tuskegee University, Virginia Union University.

The Admissions Office would like to thank the college community and especially the Career Center, EOP Office, CSTEP, and the Financial Aid Office for their support of this event.
