MCC women's basketball player Trenise Fuller was honored as a finalist for the Female College Athlete of the Year at the 29th annual WHAM Women's Sports Day Luncheon Monday afternoon at the Clarion Riverside Hotel.
Fuller was among five finalists in the college category. Nazareth College swimmer Emily Lesher was named the winner.
The banquet annually honors local coaches, athletes, and administrators who help foster the growth of women's sports. Hockey legend Cammi Granato was the featured speaker.
