Hi all. I am writing to enlist your support. Oprah Winfrey is hosting a contest to find new shows and formats for her new television network, OWN. I have submitted an idea which states the following on the voting page:
“A proposal for a live reality show that follows a small group of infants from pre-birth through age three and also serves as the nation's early childhood communication center is proposed. The case is made for prioritizing the first stage of life and having the Oprah Winfrey Network lead the nation.”

Recognizing that most of our social problems begin in the first three years of life, a show of this nature has been my research interest over the last ten years. During that time I have collaborated with community agencies on a number of pre-K initiatives and launched 292-BABY in 2002. 292-BABY is a grant program administered by MCC and has 12 community partners.
